
LINDA NICKELL
Linda was born in Bossier City, Louisiana. She is a graduate of Parkway High School Bossier, Louisiana and attended Temple University. Linda worked for 17-1/2 years in the Dental Field before retiring and becoming a full time Mother of four.
Linda is currently serving as District Governor of District 7-N - Arkansas and is a member of the Gravel Ridge Lions Club since 2005. She joined the Ward Lions Club in October 2004. At the District level she has served as Vice District Governor, Information Technology Chair and Zone Chair. For her club she has served as Club President, 1st Vice President, Board Member and Peace Poster Chair. She is also a Certified Guiding Lion and has attended the USA/Canada Forum in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Linda has received two President’s Certificate of Appreciate and two District Governor Certificates.
Linda serves on the Board of Mid South Lions Sight & Hearing Services Inc.
In addition to her Lion’s activities, Lion Linda is active in the community. Linda is involved in Girl Scouts, where she serves as a Girl Scouts Leader and is a member of the Ouachita Service Unit Board She loves taking her children to sports events and activities in which they are involved. She enjoys fishing,
cooking and gardening. Linda spends a lot of time on her home computer and is adept at navigating the web.
Linda is married to Steve for 17 years and they have four children, Samantha age 9, Sean & Spencer age 8 and Stuart age 7.
