DONALD FLENTROY
Lion Donald was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He is a graduate of Drew High School, Monticello, Arkansas and after attending college for a couple of years he served a tour of duty in SE Asia as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force (1968-71). Upon his discharge from the Air Force, he re-enrolled in college where he graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello with a B.S. degree in Business Administration in 1975.
Donald is currently serving as Vice Governor of District 7-N - Arkansas and is a member of the Crossett Lions Club. At the District level he has served as Regional Chair, Zone Chair and Public Relations Chair. For his club he has served as Club President, 1st Vice President, Board Member and Peace Poster Chair. Donald serves on the Board of Mid South Lions Sight & Hearing Services Inc. Lion Donald was elected to serve as a Trustee representing District 7-N on the Lions of Arkansas Foundation, Inc.
In additional to his Lion activities, he is a member of the Masonic Lodge #403 in Crossett. He has been appointed to the Criminal Facilities Review Committee, 10th Judicial District by Governor Mike Beebe. His term expires January 14, 2011.
Donald is married to Alberta Sheets Flentory for 34 years. They have one daughter, Tridena and one granddaughter Kennedy.
